We all know that many different Xbox pads and models exist on the market. Some will happily work with XBCD while some newer pads may require a few tweaks before they work, so post up with your custom XBCD .inf lines that make your pad work.

Note that you will need usbview.exe (for Windows) to obtain your VID and PID values.

I'll start off by posting what I have in my .inf file:

%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\CLASS_58&SUBCLASS_42 ; Generic
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_044F&PID_0F07 ; Thrustmaster Controller
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_045E&PID_0202 ; Microsoft Xbox Controller
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_045E&PID_0285 ; Microsoft Xbox Controller S
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_045E&PID_0289 ; Microsoft Xbox Controller S
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_046D&PID_CA88 ; Logitech Thunderpad
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_046D&PID_CA84 ; Logitech Cordless Precision
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_05FE&PID_3030 ; Chic Controller
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_05FE&PID_3031 ; Chic Controller

%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_0738&PID_4536 ; Mad Catz Microcon Xbox Controller
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_0738&PID_4540 ; Mad Catz DDR
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_0738&PID_4556 ; Mad Catz Lynx Wireless Controller
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_0738&PID_4588 ; Mad Catz Blaster
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_0C12&PID_8802 ; Nyko Air Flow
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_0E6F&PID_0008 ; After Glow Pro Controller
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_0F30&PID_0202 ; Big Ben XS XBox Controller
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_12AB&PID_8809 ; Konami DDR Pad
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_0738&PID_4540 ; Mad Catz Beat Pad (w/ Handle)

This line is for the Pelican XSZ Wired XBOX360 controller (model #PL-3601). It is confirmed working by me with the 0.2.0 drivers and XBCD 1.07.

%XBCD_360.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_0E6F&PID_0201 ; Pelican XSZ Wired Controller (Model #PL-3601)

I'm trying to get my wireless 360 controller to get recognized by my pc via the play and charge kit. like here: *klick*

I was trying to look up my controller idVender and idProduct via usbview and got following results:

%XBCD.DeviceDesc%=Install, USB\VID_045E&PID_028F ; WC via PAC Kit

But wasn't ably to "fully" install the driver. Windows only realized it that way.

So i have added this line:
%XBCD.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_045E&PID_028E ; Microsoft xbox 360 Controller

But when i start XBCD Setup it says "no XBCD Game Pad Found".
Its installed like the instructions.
But I can just play like the original MS Driver.

What can i do?

Sorry for my English, iam from Germany. -.-

%XBCD_360.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_1430&PID_4748 ; RedOctane X-plorer Guitar

I've been ripping my hair out trying to get the strum button on the guitar for Guitar Hero 2 on 360 to work in Guitar Zero! The first time I tried this I did it wrong so I assumed XBCD wouldn't work. When I entered the above line and then reinstalled the driver it worked!

Err...im horrible at this stuff, I did follow the guide but couldnt get Windows to accept the drivers in the driver folder. Simply tells me it dosnt contain any drivers even if i select the .inf file manually.

So I tryed adding some of the lines posted here to the .inf file, but still nothing..

I got one of these guitars - http://www.plastico.tv/contenidos/imagen/x-plorer.jpg

Any chanse someone would know what line i need to have in the .inf file to get it to work? It's only the fret button that won't work
